Simons company specializes inbusiness model innovationfor the Telco, Media and Technology (TMT) sector. In May 2006 they set up the Telco 2.0Initiative (www.telco2.net), a global research, advisory and executive brainstorming programme to catalyse change in the industry.
The Telco 2.0Initiative is supported by the mobile industry (via a partnership with the GSM Association), and the fixed industry (via the Broadband Stakeholder Group).
It has run recent programmes on Voice & Messaging 2.0, Telcos Role in the Advertising Value Chain, and is currently running a global research programme on Future Broadband Business Models. As well as the well-knownTelco 2.0 Executive Brainstormseries of events, Telco 2.0 runs one of the most widely read blogs in the sector - www.telco2.net/blog.
Simon's earlier career was in advertising, corporate identity and marketing consulting with various WPP and Omnicom companies. He has an MA in History fromCambridgeUniversity. |
