Robert Ashcroft
Former CEO - Sony Network Services
Robert Ashcroft spent eight years with Sony in both the United States and Europe in a series of transformational roles ranging from the launch of the company's e-commerce platform, SonyStyle.com, now the company's third-largest US sales outlet, to the creation of the world's first personalised mobile music streaming service and the development of an advanced interactive interface for IP-connected televisions. He left the company in 2007 to form Hudson Morris Associates in order to pursue further opportunities in convergent markets, the first of which is X-System Limited, a company that has developed a system to harness the neuro-physiological effect of music. Prior to Sony he worked in Paris for Convergys Corporation, a spin-off of Cincinnati Bell.
