Partner - Protos Capital
Peter is a Partner at "Protos Capital", investing in early stage technology companies.
Following a career in technology and venture capital longer than he cares to admit, Peter has joined Protos Capital with the unusual experience of having been on both sides of the investment table; initially as a successful venture backed entrepreneur himself and more recently at international venture fund, 3i, where he spent 11 years.
He was Sector Head at 3i, firstly for Communications and latterly for Technology, where he was regularly seen as a speaker and panellist at telecoms conferences, and built up an extensive network of contacts supporting 3i's portfolio of companies. Over the 11 years he saw over 1,500 business plans and was closely involved in over 100 of 3i's Technology investments. At Protos Capital, Peter shares responsibility for corporate relationships as well as finding, investing and working with early stage technology companies.
Peter has an MBA and is both a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
