Herve Le Jouan
Managing Director, Europe - M:Metrics
As managing director, Europe, Le Jouan oversees M:Metrics' European operations and business development.
Before joining M:Metrics, Le Jouan was senior vice president at MediaMetrie, a French media measurement firm, where he was responsible for the global management of the firm's new services related to cross-media consumption.
Previously, Le Jouan was managing director of Nielsen//NetRatings, France and vice president, business development and technology for Nielsen//NetRating's international division. While at Nielsen//NetRatings, Le Jouan managed research and development, production, sales, and marketing. He also was responsible for the integration of the business he co-founded, NetValue.
Founded in 1998, NetValue was one of the first European firms to measure Internet advertising. After growing to more than 250 employees and listed on France's Nouveau Marche, it was acquired by Nielsen//NetRatings in 2002. Le Jouan founded NetValue after his tenure at Netscape, where he director of business development.
Before Netscape, Le Jouan founded his first company, Helix, after a serving as a software engineer and project manager at CONCEPT, a company that developed financial management software.
Le Jouan received a degree in engineering from the Universite de Technologie de Compiegne, where he specialized in artificial intelligence.
