Television Presenter, producer and Journalist for “Il Sole 24 Ore”
Founder and Director of OVO.
At 23, Andrea Pezzi shot to fame in Italy as the presenter of MTV when it launched in 1996. As the cutting edge anchorman, his contribution to the MTV style was huge, both in Italy and abroad. Pezzi helped to shape everything, because everything was new, acting as director, author and producer until 2001.
Then Andrea decided to become a professional journalist, and started a new chapter as info-tainment anchorman broadcasting on national television. Never tired of learning new things about communication, Andrea Pezzi also consults for many international companies and teaches communication classes at Milan and Rome Universities, Bocconi, IULM and La Sapienza.
In 2007, Andrea Pezzi founded his own company OVO, a media company that produces and distributes short cultural documentaries, for all platforms.
“In only two years OVO will become the world’s largest database of short documentaries”, he says, and the people who are working in OVO really believe it’s going to happen, but not only them.
