Andy Baker

Managing Partner, Clarity International

Andy Baker is a veteran of the music, mobile & digital industries. Presently his role as Managing Partner at Clarity International UK focuses on digital media including music licensing around the world and increasingly film and short form video. His previous successes have included developing digital licences and platforms for online and mobile solutions enabling dual delivery of content from all the major record labels including Universal, SonyBMG, Warner and EMI. His clients included iO Global, Accenture, 3GSM, MTN Nigeria, Tesco Mobile, Woolworth, Virgin Mobile, Cellc (SA) and ITV. Andy was formerly the CEO at DX3 responsible for digital platforms and business models to enable the smooth launch of services within tightly defined timescales. Prior to this he has developed interactive TV solutions on the BSkyB infrastructure for the BBC and ITV, whilst at Energis and has delivered the largest ever live-streamed event. Andy has a degree in communications from Leeds University and has been in technical business development and delivery roles for over 18 years after leaving the Military.
