Dan H. Elron Dan H. Elron
Managing Partner, Communications Industry, Accenture

Mr. Elron is the Managing Partner for the Communications Industry in Accenture’s $4.0B Communications & High Tech Global Operating Group. In this role, Mr. Elron oversees the development of Accenture’s strategies and capabilities for serving the wireline, wireless and cable segments. Accenture’s clients in these segments include most of the world’s largest service providers. He was appointed to this role in January, 2004.

Since joining Accenture in 1995, Mr. Elron held leadership positions in the Firm’s Strategic Information Technology Practice, and in 2001 was named the Global Managing Partner for the Strategy Service Line of Accenture’s Communications and High-Tech Operating Group. He has also led Accenture’s Technology Advisory Board, which provides technology recommendations to the Firm’s CEO.

Mr. Elron began his consulting career in 1984, at Nolan, Norton &Co., a Lexington, Massachusetts consulting firm that focused on the effective adoption of Information Technology. In 1990 Mr. Elron joined Coopers and Lybrand’s InfoCom consulting practice, where he served communications clients globally. He was elected to the Coopers and Lybrand partnership in 1992.

Mr. Elron has worked extensively in North America, Europe and Asia, and has supported most large global communications carriers. His recent research activities have focused on the effects of adopting the Internet Protocol and related technologies on carriers and on their customers. He is a member of the IEEE and ACM, and has been published extensively in the U.S. and abroad. He is also serves as the advisor for the telecommunications and information technology industries for the World Economic Forum.
